Available paper grades for box surfaces

KS

White kraft paper with smooth surface and clean texture, ideal for boxes that emphasise aesthetics and well-defined printing
Provide excellent protection and is commonly used for electrical appliance boxes, frozen products, export goods, and consumer product packaging that require an indication of product’s quality

KA

Golden yellow kraft paper with exceptionally strong and durable surface, capable of handling heavy weights
Suitable for automotive parts, canned food, export goods, furniture boxes as well as frozen products that require assurance of strength in various forms

KT

Brown kraft paper made from 100% recycled material, promoting environmental conservation
Remarkable stacking capabilities and is suitable for export products that require boxes made entirely from recycled materials

KI

Light brown kraft paper, with a soothing and pleasant colour, suitable for printing images or text
Commonly used for products that do not require high levels of strength but remain durable in humid conditions, such as ready-to-eat food boxes or electrical appliance boxes with colour printing

Kraft paper suitable for making the middle layer of corrugated board with strong properties for impact resistance

FLUTE DETAILS

Flutes are the wavy, parallel ridges of a corrugated material that run perpendicular to the direction of the corrugated medium. Flute details are crucial in determining the strength, durability, and cushioning properties of corrugated packaging. The flute size impacts stacking strength, crush resistance, and printing surface quality. The choice of flute details depends on the specific packaging requirements and the level of protection needed for the packaged contents.

FLUTE STRUCTURES

1) Single-face
Single-face corrugated consists of one layer of fluted material bonded to one flat linerboard. This structure provides cushioning and protection to the contents while maintaining flexibility and lightweight characteristics

Single-face corrugated is commonly used for wrapping, interleaving, and surface protection in various industries

2) Single-wall
Single-wall corrugated consists of one layer of fluted material sandwiched between two flat linerboards. This structure offers enhanced strength, rigidity, and cushioning properties compared to single-face corrugated

Single-wall corrugated is versatile and widely used for packaging applications such as shipping boxes, retail displays, and product packaging

3) Double-wall
Double-wall corrugated consists of two layers of fluted material separated by three flat linerboards. This structure provides even greater strength, durability, and protection, making it suitable for heavier or more fragile items

Double wall corrugated offers superior stacking strength and crush resistance, making it ideal for industrial packaging, bulk shipping, and storage applications
