EPE and EVA foam

What is EPE foam?

EPE foam, or expanded polyethylene foam, is a lightweight and soft shock-absorbing material that offers high flexibility. It helps prevent surface damage and scratches during transportation, effectively protecting goods from impact

With its exceptional properties, including excellent impact resistance, water resistance, and mold resistance, EPE foam is commonly used in the automotive industry to prevent product damage or breakage during transportation

What is EVA foam?

EVA foam, or ethylene vinyl acetate foam, is a resilient shock-absorbing foam material that exhibits a strong and durable structure. It remains unaffected by low temperatures, is waterproof, and resistant to UV radiation

Commonly employed in the automotive industry, electrical appliances, engine manufacturing, sports industries, bags, and more, EVA foam serves as a protective layer in packaging

One of EVA foam’s significant advantages over EPE is its durability. Average EVA foam density and tear strength values are five or more times that of ordinary EPE foam
